If it's fun to drive and/or a challenge any car is ok. Maybe if you had a 50K motion rig & someone zapping you with electricity/hitting you with a baseball bat if you make a mistake, but for the majority of people it's all in your head. You're playing a computer game with a game controller and missing ~80% of the environmental real life inputs including the biggest factor DANGER that are part of a real experience yet you're continually jacking off over "just like real life" or "OMG ITZA NOT REALZ ENUFF" driving experiences in them. ( P.s Also, driving a fwd 60 bhp Nissan Micra, is a totally different experience to driving a 300bhp + car in real life. Gives you an idea as to what the " virtual car " is up too.īut, this force feed- back ( + comparing virtual cars between different games ), does not give a person ( in my opinion ) licence to make comparisons between the " real life car " and the " in game " virtual car ", unless, that is, they have driven the car in real life.

Now, I'm not saying that force feed- back is bad, infact in rFactor it's great. You can have as much force feed- back as you like, it will not replicate this. It comes from " the seat of your pants " / base of the spine. Alot of " feeling ", when driving a " performance car ", does not come solely through the steering wheel. Well, to be honest, I would listen to / respect a persons opinion more, if they actually drove the car they are being critical of, in real life ( as you can see, if you read my above posts ).
